Here is one of the specimen that was brought to the December meeting. It is a Hornblende. Here is some information about it provided by Wikipedia.

Here is the picture of it from the meeting. It isn’t as clear as it should be. I need to practice holding my camera further away… It is a beautiful black rock though.
